Description

#5 brass Nomex® fire retardant zippers are made of medium-weight metal and feature teeth that measure approximately 5mm (1/4 inch) wide when zipped. The zipper tape is made of fire-retardant, high-temperature resistant Nomex® material. Zippers separate at the bottom, jacket-style. The zipper teeth have a shiny gold/brass finish. These are one-way zippers (they have one slider).

These zippers are UL® tested and certified.

These types of zippers are extremely hard to find. The company we purchased the race jacket from wanted us to send it to them to repair - which came with a hefty fee. I knew we could replace the zipper ourselves. This is literally the only place I could find that would do a custom length. It was perfect and my husbands jacket is fixed and hes ready to race.
